Homemade Shrimp Stock

Posted in : Food on by : Tiffany Tags: ,

Sometimes a recipe calls for homemade¬†shrimp stock. Like for our Shrimp and Grits for instance. It’s one of those things that you may not use often, but something easy to make when you do. A good way to prepare is to save the shrimp peels, tails, and/or heads. It’s simple, just put them in a baggie in the freezer for when you are ready to make the stock. Or, you can do like we did, and made it the same day we made our Shrimp and Grits and used the inedible¬†parts from the shrimp to make our stock.
